President's Message

A Word from Our President

Journalism is not merely a profession — it is a public trust. Every journalist who steps out to report the truth, to question power, and to amplify the voiceless, performs an act of extraordinary courage and service to the nation.

At ABPS, we have always believed that the strength of our democracy is directly proportional to the freedom and safety of our press. Over the past seven decades, we have worked tirelessly — through legal battles, welfare programmes, and national advocacy — to ensure that no journalist stands alone.

Today, as the media landscape faces new and unprecedented challenges — from digital disruption to physical threats — our resolve is stronger than ever. I invite every journalist in this country to join us, stand with us, and together build a media ecosystem worthy of the ideals of our Constitution.
